This will probably be a shorter post, because there is absolutely no need to touch on every day.
I’m very tired. Like take a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day tired. I see now why they suggested 3 weeks off for recovery. Like I feel OK but they’re is no way I’d be functional at work.
I’m still covered in hives. I can’t tell if they are getting worse, better, or staying the same.
I had my 1 week follow up on Monday. Dad brought me because I was not clear to drive. I met with Kaitlyn. She said that everything looks absolutely fantastic. She also has no idea about the hives but suggested zyrtec because it’s a once a day and a non-drowsy. I’ll try it. I also got cleared to drive and was told that I could pick up the baby as long as I didn’t hurt myself. That’s great news because she’s attached to me. She also told me that the current goal is approximately 1lb a day of weight loss in these early stages, but really focus on my protein and water because dehydration is a thing that comes quickly.
For the rest of the week, I was pretty tired and was still very, very itchy. As the week went on, I definitely had more energy to do things around the house, but tired easily. Some days I feel like I can do anything, but then a few hours later, I need a break.
I am not in pain, and doing things is much easier. I’m definitely losing weight because some of my clothes are starting to fit better.
As for food, I’m starting to miss food. We’ll, not miss food, but want new flavors. I’m sure I could have mixed it up more, but at the same time as wanting food, nothing sounds appealing. I’ve tried a few things…bone broth was DISGUSTING, I tried adding unflavored protein powder to chicken broth, also disgusting. I think that last one was because it’s whey and so it tasted like milk. What I have really been craving is tuna fish and tomato soup-not necessarily together, but that’s what I’ve been wanting.
I’m also struggling a bit with water intake. I think I need to set actual alarms. I think I can do it on baritastic, but I need it to make noise, so I might need to find something else.
